In the Singles event, M Ibrahim M Shabbir was out to defend his title and he did so in an ecstatic fashion.  It all started on Saturday with a good attendance and by the end of the day we had our four semi-finalists. M Aliasger Mohammed Husain, who didn’t make it to the semi’s last year due to an upset, rectified the books this year, but M Ibrahim M Shabbir outplayed him and handed him a 30-0 whitewash!!. In the Doubles completion, the defending champions M Aliasger Mohammed Husain and M Murtaza Jasdanwala have made it back into the finals and are up against M Aziz M Shabbir and M Husain M Qaidjohar from the Fareek Yaqeen. Yet again M Ibrahim M Shabbir failed to reach the finals and bowed out to the defending champions in a hard fought battle. But thanks to Khaimat -ur-Riyazat, they have a chance to finish third if they make it through against M Abdulqadir M Murtaza and M Qutbuddin M Zainuddin of the Fareek Sabr.  UNO, DOS and TRES all yet to be decided!!
