Two amazing volleyball matches were played yesterday, Fareek Adal vs. the Fareek Yaqeen and Fareek Jihad vs. the Fareek Sabr. Exceptional display of talent was exhibited by the remarkable players of all the teams. Mohammed M. Mustafa, had a daunting task ahead of him to make sure that his team won against Mufaddal bhai Padra’s Fareek Yaqeen. Qutubkhan M. Shabbir bhai and Murtaza Madha smashed with force and Murtaza bin Juzer bhai blocked well. Taher Sh.Saifuddin served with vigour but the highlight of the first set was an outstanding take of Mustafa Talib bhai, boosting the moral of his players. The Fareek Adal won 21 to 19. The 2nd set was a battle between Murtaza Madha and Qutubkhan bhai but the Fareek Adal won the game without dropping a set.

The second match was between the Fareek Jihad and Fareek Sabr. Abdulqadir Haji smashed and Husain Sh Hatim bhai took them with equal awe. The Fareek Jihad won the first set by 25 to 18. In the 2nd set Ibrahim Sh Mudar lit up the spirits of players and spectators by lifting a virtual drop to the floor by his FEET! A good effort by the Fareek Sabr was in vain, loosing the second set by 25-21 and the game. Seems like the Fareek Sabr will have to do a lot of soul searching as they seem to be loosing everywhere? Stop the trotting and start to gallop you Fareek Sabr!!
