“Practice makes Perfect” is an old adage, but on 26th January 2011 at Khaimat ur Riyazat saw the irony of this saying.

Taher Sk Murtaza of the Fareek Adal, an unseeded player ousted the 2nd seed and sportsman of the year 1431, Murtaza Jasdanwala of the Fareek Sabr.

Taher bhai, inspired by his Fareek Adal supports, was in a league of his own. Not at all in awe of the occasion, he kept his cool and produced the biggest upset of this year's Annual Sports. Who can believe the irony, that in all prior warm up games, Murtaza bhai had thrashed Taher bhai…….Practice makes perfect in its true form!!

Yahya Sk Mustafa Currim of the Fareek Yaqeen, the under sixteen champion in 1431 was promoted to the over 16 group and swiftly got the better of the 4th seed Abdulqadir Mulla Shabbir of the Fareek Jihad. It is rumoured that he spends hours practicing……..and the results are showing!!!!
